Raising money to bring you data-driven engineering at scale
Travis Kimmel, CEO and co-founder, GitPrime
A little over two years ago we launched GitPrime at Y Combinator demo day to help software engineering teams turn the lights on with data. Today we’re excited to announce that we’ve closed a $10.5M Series A led by OpenView partners.
Our mission is to elevate engineering leadership with objective data. We provide unprecedented visibility into the software development process so engineering leadership can finally understand engineering work patterns and the people-side of shipping great software.
Every company that builds software can benefit from transitioning from gut feel to a data-driven approach. Each day it is our great honor to work with our customers to improve the way engineers are led, managed, and cared for.
Thank you to our customers
To over 300 customers who have entrusted us to deliver on this promise: Thank you for your support and your sometimes pointed but always appreciated contributions in shaping the platform.
As early adopters, you believed in a data-driven future for engineering, you looked beyond our imperfections, and you believed in us. We are committed to serving you and helping you be even more successful.
We’re continually inspired by your stories of how data is helping software leaders around the globe advocate on behalf of engineering and communicate the impact of their work across the entire organization.
Thank you to our backers
Every once in a while, a company comes along that doesn’t fit neatly into a pre-defined box, and it takes a special type of investor to believe in a company like that. We appreciate those who believed in us and showed support from the earliest of days:
We couldn’t be more thrilled to have them help us help our customers build better software faster with data.
So with gratitude to everyone who has helped us reach this milestone… Onward!
